We talked about taking the LES tenement museum tour for years. When we finally got around to taking it with some visiting friends, we had to kick ourselves for waiting so long. Having both lived in tenement apartments on the lower east side made it especially interesting for us.

The Lowes Jersey Theater in Jersey City couldn't suit us better. Built in 1929, it was one of three movie "palaces" that opened the same year in New York City and has been––and continues to be––restored to it original glory.

The buses will be leaving for the theater between 4:00pm and 4:30pm from the corner of 6th Avenue and White Street (along the side of the Tribeca Grand Hotel). See the map below.

At the end of the night, there will be four buses leaving the theater to return to the same pick-up point at the Tribeca Grand. The buses will leave the theater between 10:30p and 11:00pm.

For those that would like to leave earlier, there is a car service next door to the theater which we can help arrange cars from.
